Let’s take a short break from all the gorgeous festive red lipsticks I talked about in my latest posts and allow me to introduce the best and most flattering nude lip combination I discovered this year, I dare to say…

These past several months I shared with you my most loved Nude Lipsticks from Tom Ford, Givenchy and Burberry, in a mini-series I called Loving Nudes. ( Spoiler alert!!! I have quite a few more to come! )

This lip combo is another Burberry nude love, I found myself reaching for whenever I got bored of berry, deep-red lips. ( Have you checked my dark lip picks for the A/W 2014 yet? Link here ).

It is a simple combination made with Burberry Lip Cover in #24 Romantic Rose and the Burberry Lip Gloss #09 Nude Beige.

#24 Romantic Rose is a peachy nude, creamy, soft satin lipstick formula, which sets comfortably on the lips without clinging to any dry patches. It is soft and smooth and it doesn’t need a lip liner to prevent bleeding or uneven wearing off. For more information, pictures and swatches, here’s the link to the complete review.

As for the Lip Gloss #09 Nude Beige, with the assumed risk of repeating myself ( since I already wrote a review on another Burberry Lip Gloss love, #19 Mallow Pink ), I can only say that it is one of the best lip glosses I have ever used. It has the finest shimmer bits which on the lips give the most beautiful brightening effect. It complements perfectly the satin formula of Romantic Rose, otherwise a bit boring and a colour which can easily wash you off, as most nudes tend to do.

As you might have seen by now, I absolutely love Burberry makeup and I have never encountered a single product from their makeup range to fail me. I definitely recommend them for yourself or for your loved ones, as a gift!

See you soon, Beautiful!

xx, Annie
